Alafia Forum,

I was reading through the Q and A (in Ifacollege) and came across a post by one of the members; It was concerning working with the warriors.

I was introduced to the Santeria/Lucumi system and have been thinking of working with my warriors more. My question is though, if elegba is the only Orisha that is needed and you say (Philip) that the Ogun and Oshosi are not needed nor are they (real) Orisha, then what are they and (if not Orisha) can they be "sured-up" to work effectively?

Thanks

Actually, what I said, and what is TRUE, is that the whole concept of " The Warriors" is not logical. The Osun ( little rooster) has NO place anywhere! It is the miniaturization of the Babalawo Staff and belongs only, full sized, to an initiated Ifa Priest! The little Ogun pot with the bow and arrow inside, are not "real" consecrated Orisa. They are more miniaturizations constructed out of the "trinket theory" to give people things to sell. One rooster does not an orisa make. Esu, or Ellegua, is appropriate. End of story.
